With a creative history exploring an education in fashion and print. Edward now fulfils his early passion in interiors, as a successful Interior Designer and TV Presenter today.

 

Edward's experience started in film, on the set of ‘Shockers II’, a Tiger Aspect Production for Channel 4 as Assistant Art Director. Moving swiftly into magazines and editorial, as a stylist and designer. His clients now include well-established interior magazines such as Ideal Home, BBC Homes and Antiques, Good Homes, Eve and House Beautiful.

Beyond media and editorial Edward has designed sets for fashion and interior campaigns for major blue-chip companies, including the Arcadia Group, SC Johnson… it’s a family company!, Woolworths Group Plc, Home Live, 3i and St James Group Ltd.

 

In recent history, Edward was stationed with Shaun Clarkson ID Ltd in London working within the heart of this diverse international interior design consultancy firm where he helped develop more fixed interior settings within commercial properties supporting influential 

venues that include cocktail bar The Electric Bird Cage in Haymarket, and restaurant’s, Odette’s in Primrose Hill, Cheyne Walk Brasserie in SW1, G.A.Y. Bar and Profile Bar in hip and trendy Soho amongst many others.

 

Edward subsequently worked with DMG Media Group at The Ideal Home Exhibition at Earls Court in London to design stands for Capital Radio, Madame Tussauds and presenting live on stage at Fashion Live and Home Style events.

 

Having an extensive knowledge of Interiors this lead Edward into TV, working alongside Designer and Interiors guru Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on Home Front (BBC), eventually presenting and designing himself for:

House Doctor (FIVE), What Not To Wear (BBC), Changing Rooms (BBC), Selling Houses (Ch4), How Not To Decorate (FIVE), Interior Rivalry with Ann Maurice (FIVE), 60 Minute Makeover (ITV), The WOW Factor (UKTV Style), The Home Show (Ch4), Cowboy Builders (FIVE), Hollywood Me (Ch4) and The Great Interior Design Challenge (BBC)

 

More recently Edward has been appointed as Head Interior Designer on the hit TV show Cowboy Builders and Bodge Jobs (FIVE). Armed with the mammoth task of redesigning and making over 100 property's across the UK for the series now in its 11th series.

Edward presents alongside the guest presenters Alison Cork, Laura Hamilton, Melinda Messenger and Dan Lobb, designing and creating beautiful & life changing makeovers for families that have had their lives thrown into turmoil and their homes wrecked by a dodgy builder or bodged DIY.

When Edward is not on our TV screens he works as a Set and Production Designer creating fun, imaginable and dynamic sets for numerous prime time programmes like  'The Great Interior Design Challenge', 'Interior Design Masters', 'Best Home Cook with Mary Berry' and 'The Bidding Room'.
